Jan Sims was once a great women’s hockey player.  Now, she was a coach with a toddler as a team mate.

And a roster that was still expanding.

Once Austin was old enough, Jan decided to purchase more land in town and open up Smustle Studios.

The dance studio didn’t find success until she started selling their stereo over and over again, but money was still made off of sims coming in to use the space.

She milked the business for all she could get until her maternity leave was about to begin.  Smustle Studios ranked 5 giving a dancer the chance to have a career in Honeywood.

Her second born son, Blake Sims, was much like the other new toddlers in town.  They all managed to be extremely outgoing children.  How the Premier would use this for corporate greed was yet to be researched.

Jan’s dream did come true, though.  She was a Hall of Famer before her second son was out of diapers.  With the money from Smustle Studios and her final promotion, the Sims family was able to donate the last 80k needed for the first university.

The general consensus of the town of Honeywood Station was, in a word, disappointed.  They thought the provincial government would automatically give the institution degree granting status.  Instead, the Premier announced that Honeywood Community College would serve the Regional Municipality of Three Lakes as a place of higher education in vocational fields.

The first appointed President of the college remarked that it would be decades before HCC had official university status and that the people of Honeywood should be proud of their work toward improving the town.

Many grumbles were heard that day, but one woman in the crowd just silently smirked.

Brittany Wendland.
