Widow Calista Cameron had made many friends working in the culinary field. One of which was Brittany Wendland. Brittany was originally from Belladonna Cove, but was looking to make a new start in life.
However, there was something curious about her.
Brittany would attend cooking classes and conventions in Three Lakes, but no one knew which restaurant she worked in. She was a bit of a local enigma.
Adelaide Cameron wished her father could have been with her when she became a teenager. She missed him every day. When she announced she wanted to attend law school once the university opened to honour her late father’s donations, her mother couldn’t be prouder.
Brittany seemed to move rather quickly into Calista’s bed once she heard that Adelaide was planning on going to college. The two didn’t have any real chemistry, but Calista was glad to have a partner she could share time with.
Through some sort of miracle, both women found out they were pregnant. No man, no problem.
Their first born child was named Claudia Wendland.
And their second, Fiona.
A few months into the next calendar year, Calista gave birth to their third, Katarina.
The three girls were as close to triplets as the town was going to get.
Brittany had managed to convince Calista that it was time to move on from her past with Neil and start a new home in North Honeywood for the triplets. Calista found a nice property near the Leelaporn family. It would have enough space for all of them.
Unlike the previous home, this one started off with walls and a roof already.
And Criminal Mastermind had truly managed to convince Calista to let go of everything that reminded her of Neil.
‘Dear Adelaide,
I hope you understand why your mother and I left. She was heartbroken over the loss of your father. I had to take her someplace new. Best of luck when the university opens… that is, if you’re willing to sacrifice your father’s home for a degree. You can’t practice law without a Juris Doctorate.
Remember, if you lose a household in a new city, that means that one career path shuts down. I wonder what the government will choose to get rid of… all of those Three Lakes hockey players? It would be a pity if the Tellermans left town. Two businesses would close. You see, the truly evil thing about me is that I know how to put all the burden on your shoulders, Adelaide. If you chase you’re dreams, you collapse the entire infrastructure of this new community.
Keep that on your conscience
